SADLY, AND IN SHOCK, I HAVE TO ANNOUNCE THE LOSS OF MY FRIEND, DEAN ROUMANIS, WHO PASSED ON SUNDAY JULY 30, 2006, OF A HEART ATTACK AT THE AGE OF 52! DEAN AND I HAVE MADE SOME GREAT MUSIC TOGETHER OVER THE YEARS. HE WAS A NEIGHBOR, A FRIEND, AND A TALENTED FELLOW MUSICIAN. HE WILL BE MISSED BY EVERYONE HIS LIFE HAS TOUCHED. I WILL REALLY MISS HIM.

Dean’s talents include playing piano, bass, and drums!

He studied piano from the age of 6, then acoustic bass from age 15.

Dean has worked with various groups from his teenage years to current. His interests covers rock, jazz, fusion, and even bluegrass. He has always had a keen interest in improvisational forms of whatever style he was involved with.

He currently is involved in a group called the “Acoustic Suburbanites”, a classical guitar/acoustic bass duo performing original material based on a merge of various musical styles and influences.
